We definitely went down the rabbit hole with this hand-painted mother-of-pearl button! Our research found that painting lady faces on buttons used for fastening men’s underwear was popular in the 1920s and 1930s. The face was typically a flapper girl, and sometimes even Betty Boop! We love when we get to learn something new and bring a smile to your face!
